Summary:

AWeber has quickly become the leading auto responder for many online marketers because of its versatility, dependability, and security.

Every online marketer will tell you the same thing: The money is in the list. Your opt-in e-mail list is one of the most powerful tools you will use to grow your business and your profits. It provides the best way to build relationships with your customers and to use those leads to convert to sales.

An auto responder is an e-mail service provider that allows you to build an opt-in e-mail list and to either set up automatically recurring e-mail messages — such as a welcome message or a series of reminder messages — or to create special announcement e-mails to promote your products and services.

AWeber has quickly become the leading auto responder for many online marketers because of its versatility, dependability, and security.

Versatility

AWeber boasts over 150 e-mail marketing templates for you to create your newsletters and other e-mail communication. You can customize your correspondence to maintain consistency with your brand. Instead of sending generic, boring messages that may go overlooked or unread, you can grab your reader’s attention and maintain your professionalism.

AWeber also allows you to customize the web forms that invite your readers to join your e-mail list. You can customize the look of the forms and choose your functionality — a pop up, a static box, a drop-down menu, and more.

Dependability and Security

With AWeber, you won’t have to worry that your readers aren’t receiving your correspondence. The service claims a 99 percent deliverability rate, with built-in measures for getting past spam filters.

There are also many functions that allow you to easily manage your list, removing inactive subscribers where necessary and categorizing lists as you like. You can also be sure that all your leads are real ones as AWeber requires a double opt-in from subscribers — meaning that they have to confirm their desire to join your list by signing up and then confirming their e-mail.

Analytics

AWeber offers analytics that help you track the effectiveness of your e-mail campaign. You can track how many readers opened your e-mail, how many messages bounced, and how many were flagged as spam.  You can also track what items your readers are clicking on — including your content or affiliate links — to learn about their interests and how best to reach them.

Pricing

AWeber offers a standard tiered pricing structure. The service costs $19 a month for the first 500 subscribers. The price goes up as your list grows.  You can try out the service for $1 for the first month, allowing you to get a feel for the service before fully committing.

The pricing is comparable to most other auto responders, especially as the list beings to grow. One key selling point for AWeber is that affiliate links are allowed without limitations, meaning you have more opportunities to make money within your list, not just by selling products on your site.

AWeber is the favored auto responder among many Internet marketers for a reason. It allows you to customize your e-mail campaign to your needs, manage multiple lists, track the success of your campaign, and feel secure in the knowledge that your e-mails are being delivered and seen by your targeted customers.

  2. I agree that AWeber is the best email service provider that is a great fit for most bloggers and small business owners. I like how we can segment our lists and send out targeted messages based on interest of the subscriber.

  3. We used to have an Aweber account before but never turned out any good for us. We were looking for something simple to use and found Email It – http://www.emailit.co to be our best solution. Gave mailchimp a try but the interface had too many functionalities and had to get around. The pricing with email it was also great. I would love to know any other softwares that would do a better job.
