Blogging is becoming one of the best ways to build online preference and it’s not just limited into sharing knowledge and idea with the world. It’s becoming a great way to make money online. To be honest most of the new blogger are coming to blogging world just to make money even they might not tell that. But I don’t think I would be a bad idea to make money with blog as you are helping people and providing value for it. But anyone can be a blogger by setting up a blog. But to be a successful blogger you need to have some certain skill.
Patient: If you are going to create a brand new blog from scratch, I would ask you are you ready to work really hard for years without any profit? Yes, that’s true. Blogging isn’t ready cake just like going and taking away. You may need 1 years or even more to make your blog established. And without establishing you can’t expect to make money, can you? Do you know the great internet marketer and blogger Glen from viperchill? He is now making thousands of $$ per month. But do you know he was straggling over 1 year with his blog? So you can see patient is the main factor to be successful in blogging. Many blogger are just kicking blogging away just because lack of patience. So keep in mind that you need to have patient. Yes more than average.
Passion: Before start blogging everyone should consider this whether he or she has passion on blogging or not. Many blogger fail and stop blogger because after few months they find out that they aren’t passionate on blogging. Blogging is a great way to make money but not only so there are lots of options like freelancing to make money online. You may try out any of them if you are passionate in blogging. So first you need be passionate to be a successful blogger. None can be successful without being passionate. If you look any blogger in your niche, you will find that all of them are passionate and working hard to provide value.
Regularity: Do you know the main different between a blog and a typical web site? Well, a blog is being updated regularly and a site is being updated rarely. So if you want make a blog looks like a blog, you really need to be regular. That’s why google loves blog more than normal web sites. So to be a successful blogger regularity is must. Have you seen any successful blog are not getting update for more than a month? I haven’t seen any yet. So you just can’t publish a post wait for 3 months and post again. You need to maintain a schedule. It may be daily a post or twice a week. It’s totally up to you. But be stick with any schedule. Suppose you like to post every Sunday and Friday night. Then go after that. And always try to publish your post every Sunday and Friday night.
I think if you can manage those three, I can’t see any reason not to be a great blogger.

Points 1 and 2 are really important as without those, a blogger can only be as far as he burns out from blogging. It is also important to respond to comments and make a courtesy to comment on the commentator’s blog as well. A blog is not a blog is there is no two-way engagement even if you regularly update it.
